APRATA was founded in 1982. Its area comprises Crediton Rd., Dundonald Rd., Okehampton Rd., Tiverton Rd., Wrentham Ave., The Avenue and {b style="color:black;background-color:#ffff66"}Aylestone{/b} Avenue. It serves as a forum for members to raise, discuss, debate and act upon local issues and interests, and to represent them to Brent Council and other appropriate bodies.{p}It liases with other organisations when wider problems (such as vibration on the railway line) arise. It aims to preserve, protect and improve the local environment, which involves it in planning, street care, health and safety, conservation, transport and other related areas. Tiverton Green sits in our midst, and we keep a careful watch over this precious open space.
