There’s a big variety of things to do and see in Windsor, but one of the most unique experiences is LEGOLAND Windsor U.K.
Kids and adults will enjoy the activities at this Lego themed amusement park. You’ll find rides, shows, and plenty to eat at LEGOLAND Windsor. Here is a quick overview of the different areas you’ll find in LEGOLAND.
The Beginning
This is where you will enter the park. The Hill Train can transport you from here to anywhere in LEGOLAND.
Miniland
Miniland is where you will find LEGOS in their purest form. Over 40 million of the bricks are used here to build models of landmarks and buildings from the U.K. and the U.S. You can also command one of the remote controlled boats in the Miniland lake.
Duploland
This part of the part is specifically designed for smaller children. The area includes many age appropriate attractions and activities. Among the attractions are a soft surface play area, a figure-eight train ride, and a canal boat ride with plenty to see along the shore. There is also a puppet show theater, a mini golf course and a kids water park with fountains and geysers.
Traffic
The Traffic area has a number of interactive rides for the family. There are boats and race cars for all ages to enjoy, as well as a Lego style hot air balloon ride. Older kids and adults can enjoy the slightly larger and faster rides. The family can also work together to put out a fire in the Fire Academy adventure simulation.
LEGO City
LEGO City is the place to go if you want to see the live action Pirates of Skeleton Bay show. It is the first live show in the history of LEGOLAND Windsor. Lego City is also home to the Orient Expedition train tour, Digger Challenge and the Xbox360 gaming zone. You can also try your hand at driving one of the remote controlled trucks.
Adventure Land
This is home to the Wave Surfer and Climbing Wall areas. The Atlantic Submarine is also located in Adventure Land.
LEGOLAND Windsor also includes many special themed areas including Kingdom of the Pharaohs, Pirates landing, Knights Kingdom and Land of the Vikings.
After a long day of fun, your whole family can enjoy the learning and creativity of the LEGO Imagination Centre. Here you can watch films and build your own LEGO creations.
